Hillary Kobernick is a Chicagoland transplant, pastoring a small church outside the city limits. This is her fifth consecutive year competing at the National Poetry Slam, representing Atlanta three times and Chicago twice. Her poems have appeared on Button Poetry and in literary magazines in the U.S. and Cananda including DecomP, Barely South, Cider Press Review, and FreezeRay. Her God is more ethereal than yours and wears mismatched socks. She thinks ain't nobody got time for the Internet, but she can occasionally be found here.
